WHAT IS A PALLIATIVE MUSIC VIGIL?

A palliative music vigil is a 50-60 minute session that offers patients and their families meaningful support in the last months, days, and even moments of life. Loved ones, friends, and care givers are invited to join the patient in a quiet atmosphere, where the patient can simply rest and receive the music.

MEET CATHARINE

As a professional music-thanatologist, it is an honor to serve patients and their loved ones, and to be invited to work at the patient's bedside. It is my hope that patients and families might experience the dying process as a natural passage, where their pain and anxiety can be reduced through excellence in palliative care.
